We offer several options for whitening your teeth with bleach. The first option is what we call “in- office whitening.” After just one session, you will notice a dramatic change in the whiteness and brightness of your teeth. Services can be repeated over a couple of visits depending on the stain on your teeth, and you can be assured of a brighter smile after leaving the office. This option is great for people with a time restriction or who just do not want to be bothered with maintenance.

Dr. Stirneman also provides whitening solutions to take home. The first option is customized take home whitening trays. During your first visit, an impression of your teeth will be taken and a custom tray is fabricated to fit your teeth. Then, during your second visit, the trays are adjusted if necessary and a special prescription only bleach is provided to you. You then take home the trays and wear them for certain times and days depending on your desired result. Sometimes wear time can be as little as 15 minutes! Usually, for optimal results, a patient is directed to wear the trays between thirty minutes and an hour per day for at least two weeks. After reaching the desired whiteness level, you are free to maintain the results at home. The second take home option is prescription strength whitening strips. Either option allows you to whiten your teeth in the privacy of your own home and at your own pace. How do I whiten my smile?

Many patients desire whiter teeth and there are several options for obtaining great results. The first option is whitening strips. Our practice offers prescription strength (not over-the-counter) whitening strips that you place over the front of your top and bottom teeth. These strips are disposable and provide a very good result. The next option is whitening trays and bleach. To utilize this method, our staff will take impressions of your teeth and create a custom tray for you. You then place a small amount of bleach into the tray and place it your mouth for about 30 minutes. The custom trays work especially well, as they are made just for your mouth and allow you to converse and carry on normal activity during the day or night. The third option for a whiter smile is veneers. A veneer is a porcelain overlay that is placed over your natural tooth. The benefit to this method is that you can select the shade you like as well as straighten and perfect your smile at the same time.
